HID question

IF you are using an aftermarket HID conversion on a US spec halogen equipped car...are the xenons only in the low beams?
I assume your high beams remain halogen. Do the xenons turn off or do both remain on?
Just wanted to know if there are any dual kits available so I can get high beams also.

Also, are there e-codes available with the auto adjustment motors?

low-beam only. low-beam xenons remain 'on' when you turn on your high-beams.

Anyone ever do a bi-xenon? I would love xenon high beams....like BMW

Are most conversion kits built that way? What about the...

adjustment motors?

just for levelling. usually when cars do hid for both hi and low...

they use a small mirror like object to redirect the light. This is the case in Porsches and the new Maxima.

yup, a little mechanical flap (like in BMW)...

that uncovers the hi-beam HID when you turn on your high-beams. The actual hi-beam xenon bulb is always on though, otherwise it would take too long to get it to light up when you needed it quick.
