High boost Diode mod...

Anyone done the diode mod to hold high boost? I had an apr s3 program with my gt3071r turbo, then it took a ****, so im running stock software with piggy back fuel managment and a MBC. APR wont warranty their chip, and im not going to drop 500 bucks when I dont really NEED it, so Im going to do the diode mod so I can keep my 19 lbs of boost. Anyone done this mod on their b5, and can tell me what exactly to do? What diode should I run (voltage wise) and where do I get it? what wires to I splice, and where are they located? thanks

The ebay diodes are pretty legit.
