Hi.I have an A4 2.6 Auto SE 1995 the oil light comes on straight away so i bought a oil pressure switch from Audi but when i went to fit it i could not find where it goes i looked in the oil filter area but could not find it.
Can anyone help me locate it please.

If the same as a 2.8 then I can tell you it is above the oil filer, in fact above the upper aluminum sump where you can't see it. It is facing forward on the engine's front cover. I changed mine by moving the oil cooler out of the way, and using a mirror to help guide a socket on a U-joint. Just getting the wire plugged back on was difficult becase there is almost no room to work. I'm sure that if doing this again I would put the front end in the service postition. Check 12V.org for a drawing showing this switch.
