How this get there???

My car hasn't been birdshat on in a long time but after spending nearly 4 hours glazing and waxing my car yesterday, I left work today and saw this.

The location of the droppings was peculiar. Look at the precise placement. It almost looks like the bird took aim, swooped down, pulled up and banked left at the last minute and splatt!! - right on the lower half of my driver's side! which of course goes inwards below the trim piece.

Real strange place to get dropped on. Good thing it easily washes away with the new wax.
Just thought I'd share. Any crime scene analysis experts out there?

Me too! Yesterday! 6 day old car!

I was blasted on the right rear door, a little higher than yours (ironically, I did have my miniDV camera with me, but didn't take a picture). In a wide open parking lot for a train station along the Hudson R where big-splatter birds hang out. Since the Audi is so new I was way more upset than a little poopoo warrents - my wife's sarcastic suggestion that I kill all the birds in the area didn't sound so unreasonable at the time.
