How to replace the N75.

I have searched the archive but could not find a how-to article on replacing the N75 valve on a 1.8T. I am experience surging so I am replacing it with a OEM part.

I can see the damn thing I just don't know what I have to take apart to get to it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Squeeze the electrical plug, release hoses, take out of engine bay, replace to old position

that should be it, just make sure your hoses go back into the places they came from and you're all set.

instructions

1) remove air box tube, 2 screws then YANK it out of the airbox
2) remove pancake valve (pcv pressure valve) (2 clamps) when removed it will look like this:

4) remove 3 clamps holding the N75 and unplug it. make sure to NOT mix up the two hoses going to the N75 with the new valve.
5) reassembly is the reverse of removal.
