Default I filled my tank up with gas today...
When I got home I parked the car in the garage. I went back out in the garage a while later and it smelled like gas. I looked under the car and there is a little puddle of gas. I jacked up the car and the gas is dripping from the back drivers side of the tank. Any ideas what this could be? Could they have overfilled the tank?

I live in Oregon, we do not pump our own gas.

Default thats just the way it is
I think Oregon is one of two states that doesn't let you pump your own gas. Anyway, there isnt any gas by the gas cap, but it seems to be dripping from high up on the tank. I do not know if maybe it all ran down from the gas cap area.

Default No kidding on that jersey meet I went too, I had to get fuel. I had to yell at the guy to stop..
Always trying to make a buck....

Overfilled by a lot, most likely.

They put in 14.5 gallons. How big is the tank on a 99 30v quattro? I do not have an owners manual.
