I pulled a homer...
I was returning my car to stock...
i took off my kamei grill, and put on the stock one.
i forgot to pull the hood latch, and now when i do, the lever doesn't pop out... so the hood only goes up arounf 2 inches.
what's the best way to rectify this situation?

ok you put the factory grill in right? get yourself some long zip ties, thread it through the slats
in the grill, use a pair of pliers/tweazers something to get the end you threaded through out the bottom of the slat you went through... tighten the zip slightly so that it forms a loop, do this a few times and slowly pull the grill till it comes free on one corner and continue till the grill off the car.

ok that last picture was just funny :) ok, you know the long horizontal slats that go from the
rings to the end of the grills? can you put force on them at one of the ends to pop the grill out partially? In the pictures i can't see if the hood latch is through the grill or not, or if it's stuck behind it.
