ignition problems...

Lately, I've been noticing that it takes a couple of turns in order to start the car; could this be a sign of the starter going out?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Umm the starter turns the engine over. It doesn't fire the plugs. Do you mean when you turn the key

the engine doesn't turn over or that when you turn the key the engine cranks but doesn't fire right up?
If the latter, how many miles on the air filter and plugs? Maybe do a TBA ....

I posted a similar issue a few days ago. Does your car give you trouble on the first crank, then start right up if you release the key and try again? That's my issue. Reggie suggested hooking up to the VAG and/or a possible fuel pump relay failure.
