First and foremost though: BE SURE TO DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY! Also, besure you have your radio code (if stock HU) before you disconnect the battery otherwise the dealer charges a pretty penny to get it.
You will need an allen wrench to remove the airbag, and a very small slotted screwdriver once you get to the switch on the column.
( Might want to try that before replacing it. Will only take a few minutes.
