Improved Braking
OK, I didn't let the $*#& BMW's beat me at the track this weekend, but I warped the rotrs, etc.<p>Looking at "big brakes" (Brembo, etc.), but I was told they are not such an improvement, due to the stock master cylinder not moving enough fluid.<p>Suggestion was "power slot" rotors, steel lines, good pads, hi-temp fluid.<p>It sorta makes sense, and I like the $650 vs. $2400. Any comments or experience???

I got Brembo/Porsche big reds and they were a huge improvement (more)..
I got them from The Ultimate Garage and did spend about $2400. That does not include the new rims because they are do large the stock 16" 7-spokers would not fit over them. They are complex brakes that have many passages. After 2 bleedings they were awsome.<p>Check out The Ultimate Garage's web page. It goes into great detail as to why this kit is the best.
