inner tie rod end replacement - happening now - need help with boot removal
I have the car jacked up, front driver side wheel off, tie rod unscrewed from the suspension structure, so the tie rod is only connected to the steering rack. I am replacing the entire tie rod (inner and outer) as the two will not separate (I've tried to separate them for 6+ hrs a couple months back).
Question is: How do I remove the boot (bellow) that is attached to the steering rack and covers the inner tie rod end? I was hoping to avoid cutting it up, and be able to reuse it.
Any help appreciated.

The boot is held in place to the rack by a one time use clamp.
You will need to pry it off with a flat head screw driver. Make sure you have a replacement clamp before you do this.
Driver side is easier to work on than the passanger side which seems to be deeper into a wheel well. Passenger side was really a bitch to me when putting a new clamp on the boot.
