installing boost gauge...

anyone know how the a pillar cover comes off? are they just held on with plastic clips? also, i need to tap into a power lead to light up the gauge. i saw the instructions on the FAQ, but they only point to the vent lighting, which only lights up when the lights are turned on. would be nice to tap into the gauge cluster lighting or maybe the window switches on the door if they dim with dimmer? anyone do this? some guidance or pics would be great!

thanks, it's actually terminal 75x below the fuse panel..

this will turn on the gauge lights with the ignition key, like the instrument lights
