if u test the connections at the rear speakers with a multimeter, are you getting any readings?

Default Re: installing cd player

are u using aftermarket amp?
go to tech section and u will see the procedure of wiring the back speakers. there have their own amp and if u use the adapter for the headunit u will find out that the rear does not plug into it.

put it like this, you're back speakers are connected to nothing (except the old radio).cos u dont have a meter reader, get a speaker and run a wire from the headunit (preferable the back speaker wire)to the speaker, and find out if u will get any sound. all the speakers that came with our cars are wussy so u will need to get all new SPEAKERS and AMP. you will need to run wires (sidewalls) from the headunit to the back speakers. if this cannot help find somebody around u to help.
