Interior lights not working

Interior lights not working
I bought black s4 interior (headliner, sunroof, dome lights, grab handles and visors. Swapped it out today, but now my dome lights, trunk light, door lights and visor lights don't work. I checked the fuses by the side of the dash and they seem to be okay.
Any suggestions?

I have a similar problem but no answer for you. I was installing a boost gauge, tapped into the vent lights, accidently touched the wires and blew out the vent lights and some other interior lights. Theres no fuse in the box that controls these directly. Anyone know where the fuse for the vent lights is? Judging by the burning smell when i touched the wires together, theres a fuse somewhere that burned out.

Alot of the interior lights get their power from the instrument cluster. There may be a switch or processor behind there that shorted out and didnt cause the main fuse to burn out. Dont know if the dome light are the same, but my interior dash lights and climate control lights went out and it didnt blow any fuses. They smoked the dimmer switch coming off the instrument cluster.

I have the exact same symptoms. Plus, when I open any door (even rears) with the key in ignition, I get the door chimes... It should only chime with driver's side door...
I checked most fuses related to lights and what not with a meter, and they are all good as well.
Definitely looking into a VagCom...
