iPod Interface
Peripheral Electronics makes an adapter to hook into our factory CD change cable to be able to use the I-pod with all the stock dash controls and displays.
I have a 97' A4 with the tape deck and change cable in the back, but no changer.

Did the changer controls change between 97 and 98?

I've searched and I can't find anyone with a 97' A4 with a Bose stereo and if it works.
Blitz's web site says 1998-2004, but Ice>Link's web site doesn't have any years associated.

None of those will work with a 97 Audi Delta Radio..
..its an Audi only Blaupunkt head unit with an 8 pin Alpine changer. Been there done that etc.. Search for Jeff Bipes in the Audio Forum he makes an adapter. FYI the Bose setup on the post 98's makes no difference to whether an ICElink will work or not.If you have an existing changer it is possible to connect the iPod to the head unit by diverting the audio signals.

I got some blitzSafe Auxuallry input that was installed in the back of the Delta radio
I didn't want to lose the changer. If you can get Jeff's adaptor, then do it. I just didn't want to mess the wire from the trunk area and wnated to keep the changer for sure. Then I got the Sik adaptor, too.
