K04

hey i was just here sittin in school and i was wondering how much horsepower does your car have after the K04 Upgrade

Someone convince me to drive 2+ hours to find out...

I'm on the list for Curry's Clash, but the AWD dyno portion is late in the day, and its over 2 hours from me... prolly wont make it. Oh, to answer your question, i'm figuring around 250 +/- at the crank w/ the 3inch DP and exhaust/hi-flow cat, so using a 20% driveline loss, i'd hope to clear 200 at the wheels (w/ quattro).

cool...i was thinking about getting that setup...

the price range was more to my liking...how much was install(assuming done at AWE) if you dont mind...any regrets not getting a larger turbo upgrade kit?...my K03+chip+exhaust has reached their limits...=(

I would say more around 240 at the crank.

install was free- DIY with a friend, and bought him dinner... Dont know what AWE charges.
And no regrets vs. bigger turbo kit- i'm sure there's no comparison between a K04 and either PES T28 or Stage3, but there's also no comparison with PRICE either. The K04 is perfect to get a little more than the standard chip, exhaust, and not break the bank.
