keyless remote question

So on my 2000 1.8TQM, on one remote...no buttons work. On the other remote, only the unlock button works. Are there two batteries for each function? Can I replace the batteries or this another dealer thing?

I would try reprogramming both the remotes first...

do a search on "remote reprogram" or something like that, you'll find tons of hits...

thanks....

So I was able to reprogram the other remote. So I put the good batteries in my good remote. The other one slides apart real easy cause case of the key section is cracked. All better now
