Default Its no walk in the park

1.8T is much easier than V6. You start by removing the steering column connection, and following that, you'll need to remove the battery, disconnect the tie rod ends from the steering knuckles, remove the steering rack bolts on the driver's side (12 point 10mm) and loosen the passenger side bolt. Then you remove the banjo bolts from the steering rack, and once its all disconnected, slide it out the driver's side.

Default I didn't suspect it was a cake walk...

do you need to remove the driver's side strut or just the wheel? Good time to upgrade the tie-rod ends...
