Let the flames begin...
I just don't see the appeal of clear corners; I always thought they looked so gaudy. It is one of the main reasons I crossed a new IS300 off my list of potential new cars (of course, the lack of a manual transmission helped quite a bit, too). Around here you would think it's gospel, as every other post is about them and when someone posts a picture of their car at least a couple of people chime in for that person to get clear corners. Its just that us who have/want clear corners want our cars to look like their european counterparts

Sorry you don't like them, but they add a certain aggressiveness to the car. I think it kicks ***.

Specifically on 99.5+ models..(m)
Look at the car from the side and it appears to be "clear".
Look at the car from the front (with stock US bulbs) and the corner is filled with amber becasue of the (lack of better words) pattern behind the bulb.
In other words from the front you retain the stock look.<p>Nick N.

Clear corners look cleaner, more aggressive and European flair
I helped my girlfriend sister's 3.2TL and their company minivan Odyssey changed from orange corners to clear corners. Even if they are Japanese cars, they look so much better than anything with orange piece.<p>Tom
