lock/latch programming
On my '00 A4, I have noticed that unplugging the battery resets some programming. The windows don't go into one-touch mode until each one has been opened and closed all the way. So, fixing the windows is pretty cut-and-dry. What is going on with my passenger front door? The first tug on the handle after an unlock, the door does not open- but it opens on the second attempt. What triggers the door to take one pull on the handle to open?

No worse than to hold down the window button if one-touch isn't working!
My wife comments on it every time she gets in the car... I don't think it's the auto door lock because it only happens when I unlock the car after it's been parked. Also, it's the outer door handle, not the inside one.

So when you unlock the car with the remote, the lock button pops up?
And it still takes 2 pulls on the outer door handle to open the door?
That doesn't sound like a programming issue to me.
