Lock recoding problems!!!
I recoded my locks per the FAQ. Now I can't pop the hatch on my Avant with the remote! I used a VAG-COM on a laptop. It was having communication issues with the central locking module, must be some sort of protocol error. Anyway, the original coding never came up - therefore I could not write it down.
Is the default coding on the Avant different than the sedan? What is the default coding? (It must be different from the sedan in order to activate the 3rd button on the remote.)
All of the functions that I activated by recoding the module worked. It is just that the button for the rear hatch stopped working.
