A LONG wait for an A4

I ordered my A4 99.5 2.8Q tip from Stevens Creek Audi in San Jose, CA on January 23rd (9 weeks ago). I checked the status of my order this week and was informed that the order is STILL in production and I could expect delivery in 60+ days (which is another 9 weeks). Gee it takes 18+ weeks from order to delivery?? The worst part is that the dealer can't give me an estimated delivery week. Seems like there is poor link between manufacturing and the dealer? Or is it a USA-Germany issue? If there are Audi's available in other cities, such as Santa Ana CA, I'll fly down and buy it off the lot and drive it home!<br>

I waited 4.5 months, which was normal.

I'm in the same boat, sort of...

same dealer, but I ordered the second week in February and my dealer says "it's been released for production" but doesn't know anything else, like build week, expected delivery, etc. <p>If he told you another 9 weeks, that means I may be looking at another 11 weeks?!<p>VERY FRUSTRATING!
