Forget a boost controller..they only raise boost level..they dont take care of fuel and timing needs

Default Actually this one does...

It connects to the ecu and tricks it to compensate for the added boost.

Default Google search "site:audiworld.com split second boost controller" returned this and other info...

If you are dead set on using a MBC, go ahead and use it. If problems occur, you only have yourself to blame. People here recommend using a chip as its a much safer route. If you feel inclined to go against plenty of AWers advice and the expertise of many tuners, go ahead.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/548949.phtml</a

Default I'm all for the chip don't get me wrong, I was just trying to find out more about the MBC...

You mention problems...what kind of problems have people encountered with MBC's?

Default That's what I thought...

In that case there shouldn't be a problem. You can't boost a K03 beyond 14.5 psi anyway, or you'll run into problems.

I'm not saying this is the best way to increase boost, but I've yet to hear from someone to tell me the downsids of the MBC
