Low Fuel Light Problem

Has anyone had a problem with his or her fuel light being on all the time, regardless of the level of fuel? I have a 00â€™ 1.8T with 2300 miles and I am having this problem. I took it into the dealer and they replaced the instrument cluster and fuel sensor; however, that didnâ€™t do the trick. When I start the car, there is a 70 percent chance that the low fuel light will be on. I have never left the key in the ignition when refueling. Any suggestions? I appreciate any ideas or suggestionsâ€¦

I'd check the float in the tank.

I spoke to the dealer and they said they are going to have a recall on it. It happened to my 1999.5 A4 and they aren't gonna fix it for a month.

Did they say what the problem was? I am taking it back to the dealer tonight, any info would be most appreicated!
