made me speachless...
took me a few days to post, but alas...
on friday, my girlfriend and i were driving on wolfe road near 280 in cupertino, ca when we saw something so weird i had to write. there was a guy in a new TT right next to me and an old accord in front of him. while we waited the guy in the accord started to roll backward toward the TT. the TT driver did some quick taps of the horn, to no avail, and finally the accord ran into him. ok, not so weird so far. the light changed, the accord driver did what he could to pull over and the TT driver just drove right by him as if he didn't care. then the accord driver just got whacked and started driving around the TT like an idiot, looking somewhat pissed that the TT driver wasn't stopping to make him responsible for his stupidity. anyway...how can somebody love their TT so little!!!

Re: Maybe he was worried about getting jacked. That's one of the techniques they use.
interesting...i didn't think of it. didn't seem that way, especially with so many cars around, but hey, i didn't think he would let him off, so...

Sure sounds like a possible car jacking... The other one is when they walk into traffic
and walk in front of your car, to try to make you stop. Then try to rob and beat you. One of our family friends, drove to miami about 8 years ago. He got lost in the ghetto, somewhere. They played that one on him. They walked out into traffic, he stopped. 4 people jumped into the car, held him at gunpoint. Beat and robbed him, and left him in naked on the freeway. He told us he thought they were going to kill him. Scary story, but I would be careful on small accidents like this.

I agree...sounds like it was a possible car jacking. Someone tried that on my father in the late
90'a in LA.
My father was on the Harbor freeway and a car lightly hit him in the back. There were 5 large people in their car, and only my father in his BMW 535is. My father was startled to notice that after the car hit him none of the passengers or even the driver appeared to be startled...and there was a lot of damage on their car...so he kept driving but he wrote down the plate number. Later on, he called the cops to report the incident. Turns out that the other person's car was stolen...in a car jacking.
