Was removing the trim on your old A4 a PITA? I'm thinking of doing the same thing you did. I hate wood trim!

Not Mark P, but I did the trim mod....

in my 1.8t It's pretty easy if you're comfortable w/taking 1/2 your dash apart and the doors. The only PITA piece is the long dash trim one, the others are easy. It takes some time....a good Saturday project.

Just got the last of mine out and am stripping them down now, its a fair ammount of work...

but its not tough, you have to take each door pannel off as well as most of the dash as each trim piece is held in the back by these tought little clips. In a couple of weeks I should have a finished product to show off. I didnt like the finish after stripping off the paint so I am going to have mine autobody painted to match the exterior sooner of later.
