MAss sleeper . . .

I enjoyed a spirited run with a 2000 A4 the other night on I95. At first, I figured his car to be an S4 with some serious mods, because he rocketed away when we were already doing about 55-60mph. After a few sprints, we stopped briefly to chat. He was returning from the dyno following his Dahlback Racing 360 conversion performed by TJM Motorsport. Apparently, he put down 314hp and 329tq to the wheels, on snowtires and pump gas. Does anyone know what kind of turbo they use on that kit? My APR stage III didn't hold a candle. Anyone else have this kit that can comment on reliability and daily drivability?

From all my conversations with TJM and KMD:

Dahlback output numbers that are mentioned on the web-site for pretty much anything (Turbo Kits, Software, etc...) are all way under what they actually produce. They seem to go middle of the road with the averages (which is a good idea IMO). I am very interested in this conversion myself, but the cost is so high. I know the 260 KO4 kit is 4,000.00. Check out these links.

Here is the one for KMD and the other is for TJM who just announced the 360 kit release (maybe he was a Guinea Pig)

their kits are top notch and silly expensive...hmm,,360,,-->

probably like 380ish or more. too much $$$ for me though.

33% more power to the wheels will do that.

IIRC .. Dahlback uses KKK as a basis.

FWIW, the 1 (only 1 I've seen thus far) APR 3+ dyno I've seen was 311.93-wtq 314.42-whp on 93 octane on a FWD car. 104/104 should be in the 320 range on the AWD cars. A few APR Stg III guys are working on spuds and/or 28/71 conversions for the DBW and nDBW A4 inlines. Bolt in place of the GT28r.
