Master Window Switch

Sorry if this has been covered already. I just put the drivers door panel back on and the right rear window switch light doesn't come on. I took the panel back off and swapped the left rear and right rear plugs and the same light stays off (right rear). And the rear control works just fine. Any ideas? Possibly in the rear door?

So the light is off for rear door on master control, but the switch still works?

AND the switch on the rear door works? --> Do both switches work for the window in question?

The front control is off as well.

Both the rear light and control work.

Ah alright. Well if you switched the window wires and the same switch is still out it is

problem with that switch. If it was related to the rear door/window switch then it would have jumped to the other switch when you swapped them. Right?!

Right unless there could be something disconnected

in the rear door that connects the two together. Do you know where the relay is located for that window. I can try swapping relays to see what happens.

But you said you switched the cables to the rear windows from the master one and the same front

switch didn't work. The windows jumped though (or you would have said neither rear window worked). So if you switch the wire going to the button and the button still does not work (with a wire you KNOW works because it works with the other button) then you've eliminated any variables right? Making it the button.
