Mesh grill

Does anyone know of an aftermarket stainless steel wire mesh grill similar to those on the Jaguar XJR? Zunsport (UK) makes a similar item for BMW, but not for Audi. I saw an ad in European Car for Kamei 'honeycomb' grills, but the picture was tiny and no cost listed.

AvantGarde grill....

Here's a pic of the A!AvantGarde grill from Sean's web site. From what I've read, the A!AvantGarde grill and the one offered by LLTek are manufactured by Kamei. One difference is the A!AvantGarde grill comes with new Audi rings while the LLTek charges extra for them, I'm not sure about the Kamei. And no, the rings from your grill will not fit without major modification. Here is a picture of my A!Avantgarde one....BTW, Kamei makes the grilles for everyone...I got it at Hoppen Motorsports in Florida for $165 (about a year ago)Steve S. 97 2.8QM

Did you paint the trim(around the mesh) black or does it all come off and get replaced? I like the stock chrome trim

The AvantGarde grill completely replaces the OE grill (incl. the chrome trim), & is therefore completely black.

I just installed my Kamei grille. I was wondering if your car has altered rings from the original grille or rings from another source. If from another source where did you get them.
