missing rain channel?

Is it supposed to drain water through the arrows?

I think my car seems to have some missing parts like a water deflector. Is the part I need to buy a rain channel (8D1 819 979 B), correct?

Are you asking because you have water coming in through your heater box over the passenger's feet? If so, take off that big black plastic thing at the bottom on the windshield. Then you'll see the air filter and there should be another black plastic piece that forms a gutter that channels water from the bottom of the glass around the filter so it doesn't just pour onto/into the filter. If the gutter is there, make sure it's in place all the way so no water can dump onto the filter.

Nothing missing, if I remember correctly there is a drain under the battery that may be blocked. Be sure you can reset your radio if you take the battery out.
