More details on what cars will be at the Monterey Historics

In clarifying with my friend in Germany...he said that:"I was told that they will bring the 200 Quattro TransAm, the 90 IMSA GTO, the V8 DTM, the 80 Supertouring, the A4 STW, a R8 (I assume one of each, I didn’t asked so precisely) and a couple of rallye cars, including Walter Roehrl’s Pikes Peak winner."I don't know about you guys ...but I am gonna be real excited if we get to see these babies up-close-and-personal. :-DIf you don't have tickets for the Monterey Historics...even for one day...I would suggest going out and getting them. This is gonna be great for Audi fans.Steve S. 97 2.8QM

If it's anything like when I went, you're in for a real treat....

I went two years ago. Shelby was the featured vehicle. They had tents set up with old Shelby cars. Original Cobra 427 cars and the like. Many Mustangs and stuff. My guess is, they will put all the cars that you mentioned above in these tents.P.S. Don't forget to check out the area by going over the tire bridge. It's not real noticable, but they had some great cars over there. P.S.S. Also, keep an eye out for the cars in the parking lot. That's one of the best things to do. People bring out some great cars to drive to the historics.Steve
