My wipers work again, yay.

smurfskier and I worked on the problem tonight. I picked up that salvaged motor, but that wasn't the issue. The mechanism ittself froze up. One of the rotating points was totally locked solid. We took it apart and cleaned it up good and greased it. After some installation issues, we(he) finally got it working perfect. As good as new. Wipers are fast and work flawlessly. Many thanks to him and the other person who said it might be the mechanism. Got snow tires on as well so I'm ready for winter.

Had to, my only car. Used rain-x and kept the glass clean.

Real clean. It work OK, but it wasn't ideal. With the snow coming anytime now, I really needed to address it.

If your wipers go out, check the mechanism first. most likely

that's the problem. Luckily I can return that motor and get my $40 back for a tank of gas. :-)
