Kissing A$$ will get you no where with me ;-) Seriously I don't know what you did...
I mean you've got to follow the FAQ to the T...mess up in one place and who knows what's going on. Maybe you didn't actually get the key warning line under the dash...you have to check the wire gauge and such...read though the FAQ again and make sure you got the wires and are positive that the ones you used fit the description I give in the FAQ. Yes grabbing the wrong wire in the fuse box would be a HUGE problem...it's not like you're just grabbing power or something...it has to be that specific line or it won't work. You splice into the key warning line the little A6 wire you get from the fuse box...you'll need to lengthen it cause it won't even come close to reaching...please re-check your work.
