Need help quick.....
I hit a pothole a while back, and i noticed the alignment was off wen i was driving the car, and i took it straight home.
The thing is, when i looked at the left front wheel, it was in the correct place within the wheel well, but when i looked at the right front(the side that hit the pothole) the wheel was located towards the back of the wheel well. Almost rubbing against the back of the well, and sometimes it sounds like it was actually touching. A fellow AWer told me it was probably a bent control arm. Can anyone help me out ASAP? I need to order the parts so i can take my car in to get fixed. TIA

I agree with your friend, check out the lower control arm. . .
The same thing happened to me years ago in my '87 4000, but it didn't have the same type of suspension set up (the A4 has audi's '4-link' suspension. Sort of a strange arrangement, but very effective). Look for bent parts under there!
