Need help quick... engine prob

Ok, when i take off in 1st and 2nd gear the front part of my engine raises up and slams back down. Does this sound like I need a new snub mount or motor mounts. Thanks in advance for any help.

You are a definite candidate for a snub mount.

So a bad snub mount can actually cause the whole front of the engine to raise up and slam back down under torque?

That's what mine did when I first got it. My snub mount was torn in half.

Geez, I'd say my engine probably raises up about 4 inches and slams back down. Sounds like a snb would be cheeper than motor mounts anyways.
