Need Help Quick (PLEASE)!!!!!!!
Okay, I was test driving a 97 A4 1.8T and while on the freeway the sunroof suddenly opened up. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is it an expensive fix? Is it something I can do myself? Thanks in advance.

Had same problem with my '97 2.8. Switch was replaced under warranty, so don't know what your cost will be if you're off warranty. In my case--and before the repair, obviously--sunroof would not stay closed with dial in correct position. Learned by trial and error that if the dial was left off-center the sunroof would stay shut. This was a temporary solution for several days.
