need some help!.....

I want to put intake on my 98 2.8qm if I buy a K&N filter(cone) what else do I need to make this whole thing work the best way. Ideas please..

HEATSHIELD!!! its very important!

you actully lose hp if you dont have oneits suckin in hot hot air from the turbo!

Here's lltek's kit

I would try to make it almost identical to this. I think I've seen a writeup on how to make one yourself, but don't remember where, maybe AW tech section?

Don't think he has to worry about that on his 2.8 :)

I just made mine last week. Just used a 3" OD aluminum tube and welded it to a plate that had 4 mounting holes to mate up with the maf. Thats about it. Add a support bracket and some heat shielding, which I do not have yet, but have determined you need, even on a 2.8 and your done. As philly said, I just copied LLTEKS. Order the K&N for like $40. Also got one for the air injection pump, the little filter
