New A4 Interior
I was just paging through the most recent copy of Road and Track and found a one-page piece on the A2. It shows a photo of the interior of the A2 that bears a striking similarity to that of the new A4 (i.e. chrome rings surrounding the guages, squared off door handles among other similarities).
Unfortunately this article in not yet up on the Road and Track website but it seems like Audi has dropped hints as to what the new A4 was going to look like.

More on A4 interior - photo inconsistencies (part II)
OK, so I originally saw that the interior photo in the AudiWorld home page article did not match up with the 3/4 rear cutaway view (the one showing the 3-spoke sport wheel). In particular, the arm rests / door handles were different. A few people responded that perhaps the cutaway was based on the original interior design that Piech had scrapped.
Well, the interior photo shown on the www.audi-a4.com launch site seems to agree with the cutaway. Just click on the "design" link and then look through the detailed views for the interior shot. Anyone know for sure what's going on here?

Good eye...interior pics at audi-a4.com and AW definitely show diff. arm rests/door handles!
No idea what's going on, but one of those pics is obviously "wrong". The thing is, they're both supposed to be "official"! WTF!

There is no defference, you are looking at left side (photo) right side (cutaway)...
the armrests are different because of the power window switches, my car is the exact same way. the door handles are identical
