But two days ago I found a steal of a deal on the local Craigslist.
1999 A4 1.8t Avant with 108k miles, 2 sets of tires, pristine interior, nice exterior, comes with a Bentley, bought and owned by middle aged accountants... for $2000!
I'll miss the V6 but am kinda psyched about playing with the 1.8t!
I'll be the new guy asking the annoying questions that you've all heard 87 times before.

They dropped $3500 having the top end rebuilt. He "doesn't think" they did the water pump. I'm going to call the dealer to see if they can find out.
If not, that will be my first project. But, I've <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/9080/msgs/406705.phtml">got some timing belt experience from my 12v</a>. Whats the recommended interval on the 1.8t? I know I could STFA easily to find out.
Oh, and the car came with badly warped rotors so that will be my 2nd project.
