odd behaviour

Hi-
So I have this weird noise/sensation coming from my brakes. I replaced my front pads/rotors (they were due to be changed anyway), and the problem persists. Basically, when turning and simultaneously braking, I get a grinding/groaning and along with some shuddering in the brake pedal. Goes away when I apply more pressure. It probably isn't the control arms, as I also had all those replaced a few months ago and visually, they appear fine. I'm concerned that since the noise isn't consistently reproduced, and it sometimes happens even while braking and not turning, it might be the wheel bearings or something more serious. Or could it just be chatter in the brake calipers?

Has anyone else experienced this sort of symptom?

ABS?

Just a thought, but is it possibly ABS kicking in? This could be due to system malfunction, driving habits, etc. If you don't know what ABS feel like, it feels kinda like a tranny grind when you're driving stick.

don't think so. the rotors are brand new as of this weekend... as are the pads.

Calipers/slides

You may also want to check your calipers to see if they move (Did you re-lube the slides when you did the brakes?). Also, did you use the anti-squeal brake lube on all the functional non-braking surfaces?
