Okay...

...I ran a search w/ no answers to my question AND just got through reading the manual. No luck.

How do reset my oil service interval on my 2001 1.8T? Driving me nuts popping up everytime I start my car. I have read that you have to go to the dealer to have it reset. Another saying that you can reset it yourself but with no details how to do it. Another suggested I read the manual stating that intructions are in there. No luck. Help?

here's how....

hold down both stalks in the instrument cluster (clock set and trip odometer reset) and turn key to ACC ON (don't start it). You should see it flash to the next interval.
