Um yeah, that's pretty Ghey. Let's see how they will be able to support their economy; in a few years, when all it's drivers have suspended licences and can't drive becuase they can't afford to pay those hideous fees.

Virginia is full of Draconian laws

just look at the ad valorem taxes that have to be paid in addition to license renewal. Many people would rather gamble on not getting a ticket for not having a valid sticker than paid the tax.

And don't even talk about the radar detector laws

yup... saw 4 state troopers within 3 miles all had people pulled over

its sad but here in va the limit is 55 and everyone goes 70

limit gets to 65 its on!
80-90mph on the interstate so a higher fee will hopefully slow people down, except that when you get caught its nasty if they cite you for speeding.

time for the radar detector on the motorcycle!
