one-touch window problem

I have noticed that once every few months or so my driver's window one-touch feature (both up and down) stops working. When this happens the other three windows continue to go down with one-touch operation, but the driver's window does not. The problem is solved by turning off the car and re-starting.

Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Very sure.

Yes I am sure I am not holding it too long. Especially because the other three windows continue to work during the problem period.
