Order Reference Number/Status Codes
I called my dealer today and obtained what she called an "Order Reference Number" for the car that I ordered on 12/23/98. (Note: The car is an A4 2.8 QMS/sunroof/Bose/with cloth seats and no winter package.)<p>She gave me the number and told me it had been assigned a "D" status code as of mid-January. First, what does "D" status mean (I though there was an earlier post on this but could not find it)? Second, what are the remaining codes? Finally, roughly how long in your experience has it taken from "D" status to delivery at the dealership?<p>Any insights are much appreciated.
