Ordering A4

Wondered if anyone knew for sure when the changeover was for MY '00? What was last month for dealer to place order for 99.5 vs 00? Also, ok,I must be an idiot, but what does "(nt)" mean on a post?

If this "nt" is so important to everyone, why doesn't the bbs software do it automatically?

Good question seems like a reasonable feature. What I don't like it when post an nt. the bbs flags my message as empty and I have go back put nt in the body.

All cars ordered after May 25 will be MY '00.

Just make sure the dealer isn't changing an order that was already in the system. If it's a brand new order going in, you'll get a '00.<p>If you search the archives for "model year 2000", the third item should give you all the details.<p>Mike

1999.5 delivery

Just ordered a 1999.5 - was able to get dealer to "change" one slated for production. Will be getting at end of July. Could have also made a change for the July production for delivery at Sept 1st or so (would have been a 1999.5). Thus, depends on dealer size! My dealer is one of the 5th largest Audi dealers in US. From the commens of people posting here, it appears many smaller dealers have used their allocation for the year and are placing orders for MY2000 cars - delivery Oct 1st or so,
