Oxygen (lambda) sensor again
I replaced the bad sensor (with OEM), had a shop clear the code, and still the Check Engine light comes back on as soon as I hit 2,500 RPM.
Another shop tested it and said there was no power to the unit - so replacing it did nothing.
Has anyone found the solution to this?
Thanks,
Benedikte
1. Generic aftermarket sensor (this happened to me when I've replaced my pre-cat OEM sensor with an aftermarket one, - it worked fine but triggered the CEL. I ended up returning it and spending more money on an OEM sensor)
2. Problem with the sensor connector or wiring (you'd need to get a voltmeter and start checking).
3. Problem with the ECU (this is extreme and very unlikely).
Since your problem didn't go away after the sensor replacement I am thinking you have a connector/wiring problem. Someone need to dig around with the voltmeter, checking voltage from the sensor up towards the ECU.
