paint problem...

paint problem...
I was parked outside of my friends house the other night and his girlfriend backed into my my car. There is no body damage, but some paint on my front bumper got a nice amount of scratches. I was wondering if any of you have tried using dealer touch up paint before, more specifically those of you with dark metallic paint. I also know of a paint company in my area that can scan my paint and make a matching color, but that seems like it might be overkill because my paint is in good condition and it is a stock color.

how bad are the scratches... to properly use touch up paint is a b*tch
prep is a hassle, then you have to do many light coats and then wetsand it to make it look perfect. Otherwise it will look like you brushed nail polish into scratches.
Will they buff out? If not I recommend having a shop do it and have your friend's girlfriend pay for the work. She backed up into you and should pay for it.
