Are Passat and A4 reprogramming codes the same?
The codes for reprogramming the keyfob and such to work differently. A friend of mine is down for the weekend with his (unmodified!) Passat, and wants to reprogram his keyfob to roll down the windows.

Turns out that Passats do not have the ability to run the windows via the keyfob. But, they can be programmed for most of the other features. In fact, they are a little bit more configurable. One of the ClubB5 guys pointed me towards a VW TSB that contained all of the common programming options.
