Default People with E-codes

I know we get the "staired" look, but are your "stairs" pretty much right in the middle? When I'm behind someone's bumper, I get the stairs in the middle of their bumper -- and it's very definitive now that I have HIDs.

And I'm lighting up signs on the right of the freeway from, like, a mile away now, even the taller freeway signs. I think I'm blindin' people, but I'm not sure. You guys gettin this? Btw, i have a 98.5, so I had to trim my fenders, if that helps.

And last thing, I have to aim my lights a little higher than I should (or at least I think I am) because I can't see too far on the driver's side because the stairs start in the middle, meaning I'm getting a low cut-off on the driver's side unless I aim high. I hope that kinda made sense there.

Thanks.
-Joe

Default It sounds as if you maybe need to lower

the psngr side and raise the driver's. If your settings are too high, oncoming traffic will let you know. After I installed my Euros, I had people flashing me about every other night. Then I had my dealership realign them to factory specs, and I've never been flashed once. Now I think they are a little low, though, so I'll probably bump them up a few twists. Also, my "steps" arent' directly centered on mine; the step occurs more towards the psngr side of the car. On a narrow two lane road, the step should ideally occur right at the edge of the road, if I remember correctly. I'd have to go look again, but I'm pretty sure that's where mine are. I may move them a little left again, though.

Hope that helps...

Default Well that doesn't sound quite right. My stairs are pretty much center, IIRC, but I'll check tonight.

Dunno what you can do about that, though, except lower the passenger side more.

Default Thanks, GD

Unfortunately I'm not sure how I'm going to do this. I think I was able to aim higher when I didn't have the HIDs; didn't worry so much about blinding people. The main thing I wanted to know from people, is if the their stairs started from the middle of someone's bumper, directly in front of them. And also about the pass. side lighting, if it was as dramatic as mine's. Thanks.
