Phatnoise question.

I'm thinking of buying a new B7 and having Phatnoise installed in it, so is there any way in which I can avoid buying the stock CD changer box?

I heard that if you don't buy the stock CD box, then you need to tamper with the electric layout as there is no cable to plug the Phatnoise to.

Can anyone shed some light into this?

Also, is it possible to Plug-and-play the Phatnoise into the glove compartment?

Skip Phatnoise...

If you're getting a B7, get Sirius and then hook your iPod and you'll be all set.

If he wants MP3 playback then Phatbox is the best option out there IMO.

2nd........The chabger cord should be in there reguardless. I don't think that should be a problem.

Whatever you do, DON'T buy the phatnoise from the stealership!

I've already got a PhBox in my B5 and I'm very happy about it...except when the road gets bumpy I often need to get out and extract-insert the cartridge as it gets to read error until I do that.

Since I ordered my B5 with BOSE and the 6 CD-changer in the trunk, of course the cable to plug either the 6CD-changer-box or PhBox was there but the question is, can you confirm that the cable will still be there in the glove compartment if I don't get the CD-changer?
